Course purposes: The aim of this course is to provide an overview of common hyperkinetic movement disorders tremor, chorea and myoclonus, and to enhance the knowledge and awareness for these hyperkinetic movement disorders from diagnosis to treatment among neurology residents, general neurologists and junior movement disorders specialists. 
Learning objectives: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Learn the common presentations of different types of tremor, chorea, myoclonus and recognize the phenomenological approach to these hyperkinetic movement disorders.
2. Recognize the current definition and classification of tremor, myoclonus and chorea.
3. Focus on the differential diagnosis and the clinical & neuroimaging and electrophysiological diagnostic approach to tremor, myoclonus and chorea.
4. Establish an appropriate pharmacological/nonpharmacological treatment algorithm for the relevant hyperkinetic movement disorders.
5. Recognize the surgical interventions and recent advances in the treatment of tremor, myoclonus and chorea.
